Five is just not enough stars for the tour and quality of our trip. All around the service and experience was amazing. Mike took such good care of us to Shark Tooth Island today. We had to reschedule due to high winds and he was so accommodating. We hadn’t kayaked in a long time and felt safe. The island is amazing with a very knowledgeable tour guide it made it an experience to remember! Hands down. Book a tour with Mike! Worth every bit and some!

We had an amazing time on our Shark Tooth Island tour.

Mike is the best! He was so kind, helpful and all around wonderful. We took our kids out on a kayak for the first time and Mike and Ben made it so fun for them, from telling them about the wildlife, island and helping them learn to how to search for Shark Teeth, they made them and us have so much fun. They even took pictures of us the whole time so we had pictures to remember this fun adventure by….other than the Shark Teeth we found!

If you’re looking for a great Kayak rental experience for a solo trip or for a tour I would definitely go with Mike!

Had a great experience renting from Aussie Yaks! The kayaks were in great shape, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole rental process was quick and easy. They gave us good recommendations on where to paddle and made sure we had everything we needed before heading out. We had an awesome time on the water and will definitely be back. We had a great time with Mike on the water kayaking and looking for shark teeth. He is very knowledgeable about the waterways and the surrounding areas. He was very patient with us as new kayaking people. Took the time to show us how to look for shark teeth and even helped us look. We had a lot to take home. He even took photos of us and sent them to me through email so we could concentrate on our trip. We for sure return for more trips!!

Aussie Mike is A Legend, he is extremely knowledgeable about the entire area and its history. If you have never kayaked or even a seasoned vet you will definitely enjoy his tours!!!

We had such a great experience with Mike and Laura. They were so accommodating, engaging, and knowledgeable. We just showed up and they had all the gear ready for us so we could quickly jump into the exploration of the area and hunt for shark teeth. We wanted to do some exploring on our own and they did a great job of directing us to were we could safely explore! I would definitely recommend booking your adventure with them and I look forward to booking with them again in the future!!

I was visiting family in Willmington NC and had a spare day. I decided to try a kayak tour of Zeke Island. My best description of my guide is a thalassophile. Which is someone that is at one with the sea. I am a bit of a novice so having someone so at one with the water guiding me put me at ease. I highly recommend this company and be prepared to be swept up in Aussie Mike’s passion for the area and all it can offer.
